JioPhone 2 hits stores tomorrow: Price, features and everything else is here
Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio had on July 5 announced the JioPhone 2. Its predecessor, the JioPhone, was the best-selling feature phone model in the world in the first quarter of 2018. The new JioPhone 2 has some additional features and is expected to be equally popular.

To start with, the JioPhone 2 will be available for bookings from tomorrow, i.e. August 15. It will be available for online purchase on Jio.com on 16th August, 12pm, in a flash sale.

The phone is priced at Rs 2,999 and is the successor of last year’s JioPhone.
The JioPhone 2 is a 4G feature phone but will have support for WhatsApp, YouTube and Facebook.
The handset comes with a Qwerty keyboard and a 2.4-inch QVGA display.
The phone runs on KAI operating system, and comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory.
You can expand its memory as it has a microSD card slot that can hold a micro SD card of up to 128GB capacity.
Besides, the JioPhone 2 comes with a 2 megapixel rear camera sensor and a VGA front camera sensor.
There is a 2,000 mAh battery in it.
For connectivity the JioPhone 2 offers VoLTE, VoWiFi, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM radio.
